Community Involvement

Donations and Fundraising
In March Taco Del Mar is a Greek Week Vendor. Taco Del Mar donated over $500 in sales to the Community Action Center, which was the designated Greek Week beneficiary.
During June and July Taco Del Mar provides rewards for youth involved in the Neill Public Library reading program. Throughout the summer kids receive a free kids meal from Taco Del Mar for participating in the program. Think BIG!
Taco Del Mar has provided numerous donations to local organizations 
including, but not limited to the Palouse Clearwater Environmental Institute, PHS Senior Party Committee, WSU Student Entertainment Board, Pullman Community Action Center and WSU Battle of the Bands.
During Hunger and Homeless Awareness Week in November, Taco Del Mar offers 10% for anyone who brings in a non-perishable food donation for the Pullman Community Action Center. Taco Del Mar has also provided platters of food to the food bank to distribute at the end of the night - please contact us if you would like to help!
Sponsorships
In July Taco Del Mar Pullman participated in the Crazy Days Artwalk and displayed art from local artisan Julie Hertwig. Click here to view her work!
In June Taco Del Mar Pullman became a sponsor of the 2010 Palouse 
Summer Series, which showcases the talent of high school and college aged baseball players. Games will be held throughout the summer months at Pullman High School and the WSU Bailey-Brayton Field.
Event Vendor
Taco Del Mar was the food vendor at the Concert in the Park on August 4th. We had a blast meeting people in the community and rocking out to Small Town Boys.
In March Taco Del Mar was a vendor at the 2nd annual Green Fair at the SEL 
Event Center organized by KLEW TV. We served our menu items on biodegradable ware provided by Trellis Earth. You may see Taco Del Mar as a food vendor at more local events in the future!
Cross-Promotions
As of March 2010 Taco Del Mar has a cross-promotion with SNAP Fitness in Pullman. 
Any SNAP Fitness member can receive 10% off of a combo meal purchase just by showing their SNAP Fitness membership card at Taco Del Mar.
Taco Del Mar offers 10% off to all card carrying WSU Alumni! We also offer 10% on Wednesdays for anyone wearing a "Buy Local First" t-shirt available at the Pullman Chamber of Commerce.
